Les Cévennes

Practice makes perfect, so keep coming back to the course material.
Les Cévennes (PRON: lay say-VEN) are a range of low mountains in the central southern region of France.

Many don't realize how mountainous France is, yet it is bordered by the Alps to the east, Pyrenees to the south, les Cévennes in the southern center and even the high cliffs along Normandy and Brittany to the west.

Les Cévennes mountains are no higher than 5,574 ft and run along the south-east edge of the Massif Central, that covers about 15% of mainland (central south) France. Due to its mildly high altitude and combination of cold air from the Atlantic with warm air from the south, from the Mediterranean sea, it can be very wet and agriculturally rich.
